- I am interested in getting my major in engineering of some sort. Beyond your masters in engineering you must have a total of 45 units of work, including a minimum of 30 courses. These 30 units should include 9 units of math and 15 units of work chosen in one field of study. Free electives may be use dto complete the 30 units. You may also register for up to 15 units of engineer thesis. You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 for courses beyond those those required for a master degree. I chose this major because I love to create and design things. Also, many of my family memebers are engineers and engineering is a job that deals more with mathematics and I've always loved math.
